An anyticyclone covers the country tonight bringing mainly settled conditons, watch for possible fog however in some inland areas of the North Island.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato, CNI & BOP
Clear skies although fog patches may develop especially in inland areas, light winds. Expect some cloud for Northland mainly in the east.
Lows tonight: 6-11

Eastern North Island
Mainly clear although some low cloud about Wairarapa and possibly coastal Hawkes Bay.
Lows tonight: 7-10

Western North Island
Clear spells, some cloud. Light winds tend northerly. Chance of fog patches too mainly inland.
Lows tonight: 9-11

Wellington
Cloudy periods with northerly breezes.
Low tonight: 13

Nelson
Clear skies, light winds. Cooler temperatures about sheltered valleys.
Lows tonight: 7-9

Marlborough
Cloudy areas breaking away during the night and clear spells becoming more frequent. Light winds.
Lows tonight: 6-7

Canterbury
Mostly cloudy with light easterlies, perhaps a few clear spells by dawn tomorrow.
Lows tonight: 6-8

West Coast
Clear spells for some, cloudy areas for others. Winds light from the west or southwest. Drizzle about Fiordland with northwesterlies.
Lows tonight: 7-8

Southland & Otago
Generally clear although some high cloud developing, some low cloud possible about the Otago coast overnight too. Winds mainly light, west to northwest breezes about Southland.
Lows tonight: 4-9
