This afternoon isolated showers develop about some inland hills and ranges, showers about inland parts of the upper South Island (Buller in particular) this afternoon becoming heavy with thunderstorms possible then easing later on. Light winds generally tending to the south in the east, southwest in the west. Afternoon northerlies for Nelson.
