Isolated showers late afternoon / evening in the ranges behind Hawkes Bay and Gisborne could become heavy with a chance of thunder then easing later on.

Morning cloud about Southland and Otago may bring a shower then breaking to sunny spells, isolated showers get going in the afternoon a few of which could be heavy with thunderstorms especially about inland eastern Otago then easing this evening.
