An anticyclone brings mainly settled weather to New Zealand today.

The North Island is mostly sunny. There will be some cloud north of about Napier in the east however and also eastern Northland / Auckland, Great Barrier Island / Coromandel. Where there is cloud there is the low risk of a shower or two.

The South Island is mainly settled, expect some high cloud for the lower half of the Island and some lower level cloud about the far south.
