Clouds continue to spread into western and northern New Zealand with light rain now spreading into Northland and later tonight Auckland and Waikato.
Conditions are mild over northern and eastern New Zealand with temperatures pushing close to 20 in Napier and Hastings earlier today however a cold change has temperatures plummet in Hawkes Bay and across the South Island.

The weathers like summer in Auckland till Saturday in comparison to whats coming then into much of next week.

Showers coming and going – heavy at times, road conditions greasy in some parts.. Care should be taken through the gorge.
