Mildish night on the way

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Temperatures tonight should be a little, to a lot above average, as a north to northwest flow covers the country.

The far south should see temps remain in double figures overnight with the coolest places likely to be inland areas of both islands but hovering in the mid to high single figures.

A return to colder nights isn’t far away however, with a southerly expected to lower temperatures midweek across most of the nation.

The far north may not notice took much of a plunge but it doesn’t appear to be all sunshine there either for the week ahead.

I think by tomorrow Cantabrians will be thinking it’s gone from winter to spring ti summer in about a month.
Already looking foward to more warm weather, but a shame we didn’t get the snow this year in Christchurch.
