This weekend has been one of the more settled weekends of July.Mostly dry and sunny conditions have prevailed with just one or two exceptions, with some cloud and one or two showers in isolated areas.
Frosty conditions overnight have been quite heavy, particularly in some inland areas but a fair chunk of the country should see plenty of sunshine with temperatures a little higher today.
This dry spell is expected to be shortlived though, as of tomorrow, cloud and showers or rain are expected to encroach onto some western parts of the nation.
With this next system, winds will also start to blow with a changeable week ahead for many of us.
