Keeping warm?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Whilst the days have been pretty sunny and warm for most of us, the nights and mornings have been chilly.

That’s ok, that’s what autumn is supposed to be like.

But, as we move into the last half of autumn and continue our descent into winter unabated, the need for additional heat becomes greater and greater.

Have you had to turn on your heat yet?  Have you cleaned out your fireplace?  Stacked the wood?

Yes we have used our heating mainly early in the morning so far just to take the chill off. Been getting up to temps outside between 11 – 16 and indoors about 18-20 so as we are getting on in years that little boost for a short time first thing is great.
We are in Whangarei.

No we havent had that sort of cold yet but days like this in Auckland because of cloud cover in the mornings gives that cold feeling.
