InfoGraphic (x2) – Thursday’s warmer than usual set up for most New Zealanders

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The large high across New Zealand is helping to boost temperatures above normal for November – in fact up to 10 degrees above normal for some inland areas like parts of Central Otago. The Central North Island will be up to 8 degrees above normal.

Coastal areas (which includes most of NZ’s main centres) won’t be quite as hot as those inland due to cooler sea breezes but even coastal cities should still be warm or maybe even a bit warmer than average.

*Please note, some areas will get daytime clouds and downpours, this may lower the temperature by a few degrees locally.
