Anticyclonic conditions continue for the first half of this week bringing mainly settled weather, a front brushes the far south of the South Island on Tuesday however.
Monday
Yellow – High’s reaching into the mid to late twenties for many parts of the country today, early thirties for some eastern areas just inland away from the coast.
Tuesday
Blue – Some morning rain about Fiordland may be a tad on the heavy side, by Fiordland standards it isn’t looking all that heavy however due to a lack of rain for some time now it is still of some interest.
Yellow – A repeat of Monday but temperatures getting even warmer. High’s reaching into the mid to late twenties for many parts of the country, early thirties for some eastern areas.
Wednesday
Looking hot for most places across the country with high’s in the late twenties, early thirties is possible for some inland North Island spots. The east coast of the South Island gets a slight reprieve due to some cloud cover.
– Please note, the idea behind this update is to focus on the main weather highlights, which is why not all regions are mentioned.
