An anticyclone in the Tasman Sea directs in a south to southeasterly airflow over New Zealand today and on Tuesday, this high starts to move over New Zealand on Wednesday. For the most part the weather is looking quite settled.
Monday
Yellow – Afternoon high’s in the mid twenties today for Buller and some western parts of the North Island.
Purple – Gusty southerlies about East Cape gradually ease today.
Tuesday
Yellow – Afternoon high’s in the mid twenties for western parts of the North Island and lower southwestern South Island.
Wednesday
A warm day across most of New Zealand with afternoon high’s in the high teens or low twenties, reaching into the mid twenties for the lower South Island and some western parts of the North Island.
