Not many news worthy events looking to occur on Saturday, it should be a warm day in the east though with afternoon high’s in the high teens or possibly even the low 20’s for the South Island’s east coast.
There may be a few heavy isolated showers for the North Island’s east coast in the afternoon then easing evening, mainly about the ranges.
Sunday
Overnight heavy rain moves into South Westland and northwesterly winds become strong over much of the South Island, gales may develop about inland areas and through Cook Strait.
