InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Friday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A high weakens on Friday letting in a northeasterly airflow over New Zealand, meanwhile a low starts to churn away in the Tasman Sea.

Friday is still mainly sunny for most although some coastal cloud is still possible. Cloud really starts to increase for Northland and the Bay Of Plenty where a light shower or two may move in from afternoon.

Canterbury sees the chance of some evening cloud and a light shower or drizzle patch.
