INFOGRAPHIC: New Zealand’s 3 day weather situation

> From the WeatherWatch archives

High pressure dominates the country this week, with light winds in many regions, and breezes off the lakes or ocean.

The sunniest weather will be inland, though there will be some cloudy areas around the country, especially in the upper half of the North Island during the day.
Daytime highs will lead to some isolated downpours inland, too.

These highs are stretching from south of Australia and coming from the Indian Ocean – in other words, we may have fairly settled weather for another week or so.

High pressure may linger in some regions until the second week of March.
