If you could name a storm what would you call it?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

With all the talk of hurricanes and typhoons lately and our story yesterday about hurricane names we were wondering – if you could name a tropical storm, what would you want to call it?

WeatherWatch.co.nz regular visitor JohnGaul from the NZThS made this comment which got us thinking – what name would you like?  Post a comment below with your suggestion(s)!

I would name it after Thasia( pronounced T-Asia)… that is my name. It is very unique and never hear it anywhere.. It would juts be very cool to see. 🙂

Well every year we should have a list of names from A to Z…. A bit like tropical Cyclones…… Some of these deep lows cause us more Problems than the Summer Storms…. Would make people take more notice of these lows….

I would call it Jean, after my wife, because if she wants she can create the “perfect storm”
