Hot and humid weather are returning to New Zealand today reports WeatherWatch.co.nz.
Humidity is expected to be high across the upper North Island as winds blow in from the northerly quarter. Parts of Northland and the Far North may reach the mid 20s, but with high humidity it will feel more like the low 30s.
In the South Island it’s not going to be humid as a hot, dry, nor’wester returns. Temperatures will again push towards 30 degrees across Marlborough, Canterbury and Otago with a number of centres likely to reach the mid to late 20s.
WeatherWatch.co.nz predicts Auckland will climb into the low 20s with sea breezes, while windy conditions will remain in the Wellington region with a top temp in the late teens.
