> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s another warm one across the country as a northerly flow continues to push temperatures above the national average for this time of year.

WeatherWatch.co.nz reports almost every centre in New Zealand is around the 20 degree mark with some in the mid 20s.

In the past hour it’s been around 23 degrees in Auckland, 25 in Gisborne, 24 in Hamilton, 27 in Blenheim and 26 in Christchurch and Hastings.

The West Coast is warm too with a temperature around 20 degrees at 3pm.

Whangarei, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Levin, Lower Hutt, Wellington, Nelson and Queenstown are all between 20 and 22 degrees.

The coolest main centre in the country this hour is Paraparaumu…on 18 degrees.
