Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mainly sunny with a touch of high cloud possible, cloud may thicken up in the evening pushing in from the west. Light southerly winds.
Highs: 13-14

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny areas and some high cloud, cloud thickens up in the evening. Light winds.
Highs: 9-12

Eastern North Island
Morning drizzle or showers clear then sunny spells develop from afternoon, cloud may hang on about Gisborne for the rest of the day however. Light southerlies.
Highs: 11-12

Wellington
Any morning cloud clears then becoming mostly sunny, light winds.
Highs: 10

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny, light winds.
Highs: 9-11

Canterbury
Sunny, light winds.
Highs: 7-9

West Coast
Areas of cloud, mainly right on the coast, may even be a light shower or two from afternoon otherwise mainly dry. Just inland conditions are sunnier after a cold start. Light winds.
Highs: 8-11

Southland & Otago
A mix of sun and cloud about Southland, mostly sunny elsewhere. Light northwesterly winds.
Highs: 7-9
