An east to southeasterly airflow lies over the country today, so conditions are fairly cloudy in eastern regions while out west sunnier skies can be expected. Drizzle patches are possible about Canterbury northwards while the east of the North Island has a higher chance of drizzle or patchy rain.

Mostly sunny with some high cloud and southeasterly breezes, areas of cloud about eastern Northland with the low risk of a shower or two there.

breezes.

Cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle, southeasterly winds.

Sunny with some high cloud, southeasterly winds picking up a little in the
afternoon. For Taranaki expect mostly sunny weather all day. High cloud thickens
up a little from evening.
Morning drizzle clears then expect cloudy spells with brisk southerly
winds.
Mostly sunny with southeasterly breezes, winds may tend northerly in the
afternoon.
A mix of sunny and cloudy spells with breezy east to southeasterly winds,
chance of a drizzle patch morning and night mainly near the coast.

Mostly sunny with light winds after morning cloud breaks away, afternoon
sea breezes. Low risk of an isolated late afternoon shower about the
ranges.

breezes.

Central Otago
Mostly sunny with light winds, some afternoon cloud with the low risk of a
late afternoon shower any of which clear in the evening.
