Friday’s national forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It will be another dry and settled day for most of the country.

Are you tired of this weather yet?  I hope not, because we have at least a few more days of it.

For today, another round of plentiful sunshine is expected for much of New Zealand.  A fair mix of clouds is expected for the lower North Island and much of the South Island.  However, these clouds should be pretty harmless.

The exception to that rule will be Gisborne and Hawkes Bay.  The persistent onshore flow is the reason these areas keep seeing shower chances whilst just about everywhere else it’s dry.

High temperatures today will reach upper teens to lower 20’s for most areas.  Areas where there are more clouds could be bit cooler.
