Drizzle or patch rain mainly restricted to the West Coast of the South Island overnight but some manages to get into Otago and parts of southern Canterbury.

Fairly cloudy about the Waikato with light winds tending westerly. Clearer skies about the Bay Of Plenty and Central North Island. Some fog may form overnight for sheltered Central North Island areas however.

Mainly clear skies with a few flicks of high cloud, easterlies near the coast ease this evening.

Western North Island
Westerly winds with cloudy periods about northern Taranaki and Kapiti, drizzle patches possible overnight about Kapiti. Clear spells elsewhere.

Mostly cloudy with northerly winds.

Mainly clear with northerlies easing this evening, low cloud or fog possible overnight.

High cloud with easterly winds near the coast, light winds inland. Some brief rain or drizzle may spread into South / Mid Canterbury overnight for a time.
