Fog to start? #WeatherRisks and your Main Centre outlook on Thursday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Thursday is shaping up fairly settled and even around most of New Zealand, as an anticyclone moves away from the country to the east of us.

There is the possibility that a few patches of fog may accumulate around the Central North Island and to the east of the country in the morning before burning away – it may not be widespread or stick around long, but the conditions may line up just right.

Main Centres

Auckland

Sunny to start, with cloud increasing as the day goes on, and temperatures in the early 20s – along with breezy notheasterlies through the afternoon.

Wellington

Sunny with high cloud increasing once again, and light northerlies, as temperatures get into the early 20s.

Christchurch

Northeasterlies in Christchurch too, with temperatures in the late teens and high cloud accumulating as the day goes on, after a bright and sunny start.
