Fog in Auckland has disrupted dozens of domestic flights this morning, with a handful of services to main centres among those affected.

Almost 50 flights have been delayed or cancelled, 27 arrivals and 20 departures.

An Auckland airport spokesman said most of the affected flights were on regional routes to smaller centres, although some flights to and from Christchurch and Wellington had also been delayed.

International flights were unaffected.
