Flooding and wildfires claims lives in Europe

Flooding in Central Europe has claimed the lives of 14 people and several others are missing.

Torrential rain has caused rivers and dykes to burst or breach their banks in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Lithuania.

In Portugal nearly 500 firefighters are tackling wildfires in the north and centre of the country.

Meanwhile literally hundreds of wildfires are buirning across Russia.
