Finally, Friday looking settled and calm

> From the WeatherWatch archives

After a week of topsy turvy weather in some places, Friday is shaping up to settle down – with mainly settled conditions across New Zealand.

Light winds will prevail across much of the country, as a weak ridge of high pressure lies over both islands.

Not everywhere is perfect though – Nelson may see a few showers, and the same goes for Northland.
Coastal Southland and coastal Otago could see a morning shower too.
