We’ve been exclusively sent video of lightning sprites seen over NZ, possibly a NZ first to have them captured on video. We explain what they are.
Heavy rain is on the way for Tasman region with over 100mm possible in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Sunday has a colder change moving into southern NZ, meaning Monday kicks off cooler nationwide.
