Much of the nation should continue to bathe in sunshine today as the relatively settled Easter spell continues.
Cloud build ups are possible in the Far North and potentially some showers moving in over parts of Auckland but most of the moisture remains about Gisborne again today.
Cool temperatures have once again hit parts of the south this morning but also some morning fog and low cloud has popped up in some areas.
This is expected to burn off as the morning rolls on and generally sunny skies are expected for this afternoon but the chance of some cloud returning tonight in coastal areas of the Mainland.
Temperatures over most parts of the country should get near or top the 20 degree mark once gain today.
A brief look at tomorrow and there could be showers moving into some central North Island areas along with Northland and the Coromandel but hopefully drying up by the end of the day with more sunshine returning by Easter Monday.
The south could see a nor’ wester start to build later tomorrow with some cloud building and by Easter Monday the could could bring rain along the West Coast but warm temperatures with some cloud in the far south.
