The short working week looks set to be a dry one predicts WeatherWatch.co.nz.
The large high that brought mostly dry and settled weather to New Zealand across Labour Weekend will continue to lie over the country for the rest of the week – but there’s a catch.
WeatherWatch.co.nz says that although the large high will remain over us it is now starting to drift to the east of the country – allowing more of a north easterly flow over northern New Zealand and a weakening of air pressure in the west, which may bring in more cloud cover and a low risk of isolated showers.
The high peaked over New Zealand during the weekend and while it’s not going to move away very fast cloudier conditions and an increased risk of showers are predicted later in the week and upcoming weekend.

another drought? Things have dried out so fast here at South Head, Helensville. Just don’t seem have got that zip of spring growth that we usually get. What are the predictions for this summer?
