Deep south the warmest

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Rather surprisingly the warmest centres this hour go to Dunedin airport, Lumsden and Manapouri with 25 degrees under sunny skies.
The north hasn’t missed out completely with Paeroa on 24 but Milford Sound and Invercargill are also on 24.

The biggest drop in temperature tonight though is likely to be in the far south and a front is expected to move through the region overnight and tomorrow with cooler conditions.

Wellington and the east coast of the North island is seeing the coolest winds and temperatures with breezy, cool south to sou’ east winds.
