Our daily highs section has been upgraded and at about 5pm each day we’ll bring you the latest maximum temperatures from across the country and we’ve added a few more locations especially over the South Island.
Numerous skifields have now also been added across both islands and it gives us a great idea what sort of day has taken place across the mountains.
Half a dozen more centres have been included for Southland and we’re pleased to welcome in Stewart Island for the first time and deliver the top temperature each day for Oban.
The daily highs section is proving increasingly popular and and the maximum temperatures are taken up until 4pm each day.
The information is provided courtesy of MetService and we bring it to you before you can see it on the tele each evening.
Whether you’re in Te Kuiti, Nightcaps or on top of Mount Hutt, we’ll bring you your local top temperature each day at WeatherWatch.co.nz.

Well done, fantastic additions especially for us in the Deep South. Alot of smaller Southland towns covered now that are usually missed especially considering Southland has a very diverse climate where conditions can vary wildly over short distances. Skifield’s a great addition to. Daily Minimums next?

That’s great, but are you still having the previous few day’s temp’s?
I keep a weather diary and often go back a day or two to get temp’s I have missed, but I only seem to be able to get the current day’s readings?
