Today was a real assortment of weather, ranging from warm sunshine to a couple of thunderstorms with one or two downpours. Despite all the activity, mild to warm temperatures covered most of the country.
Tonight looks to be a mild night for many, with very few overnight lows expected to hit single figures.
Some moisture is predicted to fall across many regions tomorrow but most eastern areas and Nelson and Marlborough, shouldn’t see anything too significant, if at all. Temperatures start to take a tumble in the south and west of the mainland but elsewhere it’s looking like the top temperatures could be in the low to mid 20s.
The highest reading today was 27 degrees in Wanganui & Masterton and the low was 14 degrees at Gore.
