Temperatures were about average for late March and although tonight might be a bit nippy in some central North Island areas, tomorrow should be a mild to warm day for many of us except for some showers or rain in the west and south of the mainland.

The high today was 25 at Kaitaia, Kawerau and Culverden and the low of 17 was in Greymouth, Gore and Milford Sound.
