Country99TV free to view this week

> From the WeatherWatch archives

SKY subscribers can this week access Country99TV for free as Fieldays 2011 kicks off today at Mystery Creek near Hamilton.

Between 6am today (Wednesday) and 10pm Saturday those who are subscribed to Sky can watch the channel on SKY channel 99 at no charge.

The channel features the only regular long range weather forecast in New Zealand, giving farmers early warnings of future storms, cold blasts and frosts during the weather segment each weeknight at 8:20pm written and presented by our very own Philip Duncan.

The weather forecast is part of Country99TV’s prime time nightly national News and Weather show, presented by Mark Leishman. The channel features numerous other NZ current affairs programmes tailored to the farming and agribusiness sector and hosted by veteran journalists like John Stewart and Genevieve Westcott.

Be sure to check out Country99TV at the Fieldays if you’re there. The channel will broadcast from their studio in the foyer of the convention centre.

If you pop along, check them out and subscribe, and you will go into the draw to win a KEA farm bike trailer.
