It’s another stunning day across the country as New Zealanders enjoy one last day of settled weather thanks to an anticyclone.
It’s still cold in most places however with sunny skies and little wind conditions feel warmer – here are the temperatures in the main centres as of 10:30am…

Hi WW, best day of the last three here in Whnagarei, frost this morning but not as severe as yesterday, also a beautiful clear blue sky whereas both Saturday & Sunday had a little cloud about and a bit of a wind keeping a chill on the place.
Clouds forming now as we get into lunchtime but a very pleasant day with the best place being outdoors in a sunny spot. It has certainly made a good break from the last few wet weekends allowing us to get some outdoor work done.
I see the next front approaching on your sattelite pic so what can we expect of this one as well as the rainy stuff?
Cheers and enjoy the day wherever.
