Cold nights, warm days

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Overnight lows are dropping to lower levels than they did many times last month as the winds die out and skies clear of clouds says WeatherWatch.co.nz.

For the next few nights overnight lows will be almost entirely in the single digits across the country with some well known cold spots, such as Timaru and Taupo, dropping to levels closer to zero.

However WeatherWatch.co.nz doesn’t expect frosty weather with soil temperatures remaining high.

Daytime highs will bounce back quickly under mostly clear skies.  Highs everywhere should be in the mid to late teens with some regions, such as Bay of Plenty, likely reaching 20.
