Cold and clear for most – #WeatherRisks and your Main Centre outlook on Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Frosty conditions are starting the day again on Tuesday, after a chilly Monday morning – and overnight the temperatures dropped again.

Highest frost risk is once again in the interior of both islands – particularly sheltered spots away from the coasts and prevailing winds.

Main Centres

Auckland

Cloudy areas to start and the chance of a shower at times during the day – otherwise mainly dry, along with winds from the southwest and temperatures in the mid teens.

Wellington

Southerlies and morning cloud die away to lead to a mostly sunny (if chilly) day for the capital.

Christchurch

Cool in Christchurch too – though clear conditions overhead and light winds, while afternoon cloud could move in around the coast.
