A logging truck has rolled on the road between Thames and Tairua, State Highway 25, in the Coromandel.
Live electrical wires have fallen across the truck.
Inspector Shawn Rutene said no one had been injured but the road had been closed. He said the road between Thames and Tairua would be closed for two hours due to black ice.
