With summer kicking in officially this weekend we’d like to know where your favourite beach or holiday spots are.

There’s nothing better than getting away from it all for a bit and New Zealand seems to have so many popular tourist areas but also secluded private bays,beaches,rivers and lakes.
It’s great to relax and especially if the weather also plays its part but sadly it’s never a guarantee in this part of the world and whatever the season it seems.

Which one would you nominate and why is it a favourite? What is the weather like  most summers or is it inconsistent like so many other places?
