After what has been mainly settled weather last week, we are starting to see more life in the weather for the coming days.
Monday
Blue – Some heavy rain for North Westland clears away by midday then there may be a touch of heavy rain about Taranaki this afternoon.
Purple – Northerly winds through Cook Strait are strong and gusty, then easing this evening.
Tuesday
Not much going on for Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure settles over the country.
Wednesday
White – A light frost to start the day about inland parts of the North Island.
There may be a few areas of fog to start the day about inland sheltered parts of the North Island.
Blue – Areas of rain move onto western parts of the country in the evening, rain may be heavy at times.
