Back to calm, settled conditions this weekend

> From the WeatherWatch archives

On Saturday we’re looking at a return to ‘normal’ services for 2015 – with a settled outlook across much of the country.

A high sits just west of the South Island in the Tasman Sea, while another high centre sits just to the east of central New Zealand.
Wind flows should stay mainly light, although Southland will have a northwesterly breeze pushing through – brisk at times.

Other than that, everywhere else is looking just fine and dandy – largely clear skies and gentle breezes.
