Auckland’s warm nights continue on

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The nor’east airflow will continue across many parts of NZ until early next week with Auckland receiving some of the milder nights.

With cloud cover overnight helping keep the daytime warmth in, coupled with mild sea conditions around the city on both sides, the overnight lows are now in the late teens – but feels like the low 20s.

For some this may be a tad too mild with fans and air con units being switched on and windows opened wide.

Of the main centres, Auckland has the highest overnight lows over the next four nights.

Most main centres around NZ will be mild too, but not quite to the same levels as Auckland.

The Humidex – which is an exclusive forecast product at www.RuralWeather.co.nz that factors heat plus humidity – shows Auckland’s feels like temperature overnight will be in the low 20s.
