A fair portion of New Zealand has rain or showers this morning, the heaviest spots currently appear to be eastern Bay Of Plenty / East Cape and about some parts of Nelson / Marlborough.
Rain should ease for both these areas this afternoon, some parts of the lower North Island pick up a chance of heavy rain from afternoon through till evening however.
The weather outlook for next week is looking mainly unsettled so summer isn’t here yet that’s for sure.
