This amazing shot was taken around twilight, at Whitford, Auckland in late 2007. “This unusual cloudbank swept towards us, like an inverted wave catching the last watery rays of the sun” says John Sweden who took the photo.
“I ran the image through a high dynamic range image processor (HDRI) to accent the striations in the clouds that I saw with the naked eye” says John.
