We’ve had messages of joy from farmers in extremely dry parts of the country to say they are more than happy with the week’s weather so far – with plenty of rain and showers coming to those who needed it most!

There are a lot of showers sitting in other areas, and plenty more wet weather for the rest of the month too.

Heading into the weekend, showers and patchy rain continue in eastern NZ, though it looks like easing as the week ends, along with a cooler change for parts of the country.
