Showers in the South Island will be more confined to coastal Southland – and shouldn’t be too much to worry about. There are still some downpours in the upper North Island too – they’re caught up in the humid easterly flow.
Other than that, it’s shaping up mostly dry and reasonably settled around the rest of the country.
