A chance of fog – Your Main Centre outlook and Wednesday’s #WeatherRIsks

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The ridge currently lying over the North Island means the only real risk is the chance of fog about inland parts of the North Island first thing in the morning.

Other than that, it’s fairly clear sailing for most of the country – relatively warm, mostly dry, and very settled for the midweek.

Main Centres

Auckland

A warm day in Auckland, mainly sunny with light winds and temperatures in the late teens. Very nice.

Wellington

Wellington looks sunny too, with light northerly winds becoming breezy after midday and highs in the mid teens.

Christchurch

And it’s a similar story in Christchurch, sunny with light northeasterly winds near the coast, while further inland, winds tend northwest – and temperatures in the mid to late teens.
