A blustery northeasterly – Thursday’s Weather Video

We’ve seen some extreme weather in Australia this week – and the same large low pressure system which made waves in Sydney is about to blow across New Zealand.

The system is weakening as it approaches however, though northeast winds will gust up to gale force at times – which will be felt more keenly than other kinds of winds on our east coasts.
