We live at Rarangi Beach near Blenheim – can see Wellington from here. It was a real goodie.
Having recently lived in Inangahua Junction for many years, it almost made me feel at home LOL! No damage except to our nervous systems.

Not too bad in Waikanae.
Just a gentle rumble and a shake.
Not damaging or frightening

Hi yes felt it here in Whitby sitting at computer heard the rumble then my chair started swaying. Our house is built on a hillside so did not seem too big here. I have experience a lot worse in wangaui when I was young.
