The warmest spot at the moment is Palmerston North on 24 degrees with a light NW breeze. The cool one presently goes to Milford Sound with 16 degrees.
A number of centres up and down the country have hits the low 20’s early this afternoon, particularly inland, away from the seabreeze and a stiff northeasterly is blowing onto some coastlines, keeping the thermometer from peaking too high.
To the main centres and Auckland and Hamilton are both clocking in with a very pleasant 23 degrees, Dunedin is now 21, Christchurch, with a fresh seabreeze is on 19 and Wellington is sitting on 18 degrees.
Be sure to check in later on this afternoon to see who was hot and who was not, with our Daily Debrief at around 4.30!
