As of 2024 we will no longer be publishing questions related to weather forecasts if they are answered via our hyper-local hourly & 10 day forecasts, weather maps and regular daily and monthly weather & climate videos.
We’re a small NZ business with limited resources to respond to general weather questions. Our social media pages may be helpful to you, especially if you want to often talk (or groan!) about your local weather. You can find more resources from us here if that’s your thing.

hi ww is this low pressure zone we got means the high pressure train is slowly starting to break apart?

Hi Josh, another low like this needs to happen again in the near future, but no major changes expected this month to that high pressure zone.

Thanks for the no nonsense weather reporting and told in layman’s language.
My only go too is Weather Watch.

Good morning Maureen – we’ve removed the non-reporting weather station from display. This means the next nearest station to you will now display. Let us know if this doesn’t occur today.
Cheers

Hi there, it would be great if you could please remove IKAIWA28.
It’s been showing ’60 deg C’ for weeks – if not months – and has been reported by multiple people. Many thanks.
