As of 2024 we will no longer be publishing questions related to weather forecasts if they are answered via our hyper-local hourly & 10 day forecasts, weather maps and regular daily and monthly weather & climate videos.

We’re a small NZ business with limited resources to respond to general weather questions. Our social media pages may be helpful to you, especially if you want to often talk (or groan!) about your local weather. You can find more resources from us here if that’s your thing.

Thanks for your support!

hey phil I am glad you removed the rain icon for today given iobnly 0.9mm are expected however looking at the radar some heavy downpours expected? might get more locally?

josh on 17/03/2025 8:47pm

hi ww is this low pressure zone we got means the high pressure train is slowly starting to break apart?

WW Forecast Team on 19/03/2025 7:57am

Hi Josh, another low like this needs to happen again in the near future, but no major changes expected this month to that high pressure zone.

Thanks for the no nonsense weather reporting and told in layman’s language.
My only go too is Weather Watch.

Richard Leng on 13/03/2025 5:35pm

Well done with all the YouTube views , a very sound and reliable source.

Maureen Drayton on 11/03/2025 6:50pm

Kia ora WW … we haven’t had any temp reading for Whakatane for a while … is there a reason for this ? Thanks

WW Forecast Team on 11/03/2025 8:22pm

Good morning Maureen – we’ve removed the non-reporting weather station from display. This means the next nearest station to you will now display. Let us know if this doesn’t occur today.
Cheers

Theresa on 9/03/2025 11:29pm

Hi there, it would be great if you could please remove IKAIWA28.
It’s been showing ’60 deg C’ for weeks – if not months – and has been reported by multiple people. Many thanks.

WW Forecast Team on 10/03/2025 12:42am

Hi Theresa, yes no problem. Will remove it today.
– WW
